- Each tent has a braai facility -bring your own wood/charcoal and grid
- Plastic table and 4 chairs
Remember that the tents are NOT serviced, so please ensure that you clean up behind yourself,
and leave them as you would like to find them.
NOTE:
One tent per membership. We will allow a second tent for a Family Membership to accommodate the children who still fall under that membership.
The FOPS tents are there for the primary use of FOPS members.
The FOPS tent area is part of the Golden Leopard concession and FOPS must adhere to the rules and regulations set by Golden Leopard.
Pitching of additional tents, rooftop tents/ caravans next to/ between the FOPS tents are not allowed.
If you need additional accommodation when you book a FOPS tent, please make arrangements with Golden Leopard reservations to book a campsite adjacent to the FOPS tents.
R350 per tent per night for non-work party members during peak season (long weekends, school holidays and weekends incl. Fri and Sat nights)
R250 per tent per night out of season for non-work party attendees (Sun- Thurs nights outside of school or public holidays)
R250 per tent per night for work party attendees- This is regardless of the season, providing they
have attended 4 work parties in the preceding year.

• Complete the online form below and submit.
• Availability will be confirmed via email and the tent will be temporarily booked for you.
• Once availability has been confirmed via email, make FULL payment and email proof of payment to treasurerfops@gmail.com.
• Full payment must be made within two weeks after availability has been confirmed. If payment is not received within two weeks, the booking will be cancelled, and the tent/s reallocated/ made available to other members.
• A booking confirmation will be sent once proof of payment has been received. This allows members to enter the park at the same rate as other Manyane guests.
• Please make sure that you do this timeously.
• ONLY ONLINE BOOKINGS WILL BE ACCOMMODATED, NO EMAILS, SMS, WHATSAPP'S OR PHONE CALLS FOR TENT BOOKINGS.
NOTE:
It is the members' responsibility to ensure that proof of payment has been received.
The availability information is updated once a confirmation letter is issued (booking finalised).
As reservations are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, we cannot guarantee that accommodation you see as available online will still be available when you make a reservation.
The online process is a new initiative and we do ask members to bear with us with possible teething challenges. Any feedback and concerns will be appreciated

Bookings cancelled 1 month before a booking will receive a full refund.
Shorter notice of cancellation will receive no refund
When you arrive at the Pilanesberg Manyane entrance gate:
Tell the guard at Manyane entrance that you are going to the FOPS safari tents, and show proof of booking if requested.
Every tent has a combination lock, the combination of which you need to get from Lampies before you arrive.
Please SMS / WhatsApp Lampies a minimum of 24 hours ahead during business hours, to get the code.
Sign in the guest book in the tent and please note if everything is in order.
PLEASE advise Lampies if there are any problems with missing items or leaks etc.
- DEPOSIT THE FULL AMOUNT INTO THE FOPS BANK ACCOUNT WITHIN TWO WEEKS AFTER AVAILABILITY HAS BEEN CONFIRMED. IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN TWO WEEKS, THE BOOKING WILL BE CANCELLED AND THE TENT/S REALLOCATED TO OTHER MEMBERS.
- REFERENCE “YOUR SURNAME” & THE WORD “TENTS” IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE RECOGNIZED AS A TENT PAYMENT.
The 3 FOPS tents are available to current, paid up members only and on the basis of ONE tent per membership.
The tents are self-catering, self-serviced safari-style tents, erected on cement slabs situated in the Manyane camp site area in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
To access them, go through the boom marked 'park officials only.
